Yes, I use one off a early 1990's VW Jetta. Fits perfect, looks good and they are available new for cheap!

I agree. People would rather support someone locally than across the pond. Besides, every time I tell my son to add water to the car he misplaces the cap!(damn teenager)

For those who asked, yes, the bottle from Jaymic does come with the cap, which is good, 'cause the bottles are whiter than OEM, so you want the bottle and cap to match. I got mine from them when the £ was a little lower vs: the $ so mine was $40 at my door.

That's pretty good considering I sold a couple of NOS caps last year on ebay and they each got about $50

I ordered a cap for a 1991 Jetta and it was massive.  It does not fit the old VDO bottles.  Happen to have any more info as to what year Jetta???

I might be missing something here, but both realoem and shop.bmwclassic.com both show them as still available for $5.90.

My car was missing the cap when I bought it.  I was pretty stoked to find it sitting down on the frame rail!  (along with an old snap on stubby screwdriver).  I guess I got lucky.

The cap sold by BMW today fits the ginormous rectangular reservoir they sell now. The cap is MUCH too big for the original cylindrical reservoirs. Ask me how I know!
