  1. I'm currently running some 185/70/13 CN36s I bought straight from Longstone and love them! Admittedly, if a 205/60/13 was offered for the CN36 I'd probably buy another set, especially with free shipping to the US! ?
  2. I ordered a Repa belt from them last year on 8/29, didn't get shipped out until 9/8. It took two weeks to get something from them that was supposedly in-stock per their website. Plus their customer service email is rogers.tii@aol.com, I mean come on now. Maybe I should check Ask Jeeves or browse pets.com while I'm waiting next time. I almost exclusively deal with BluntTech now. If I send them an email I receive a same-day reply if it's within normal business hours, and Steve takes the time to explain the why behind some things otherwise unknown to me. Highly recommend them.
  3. Sign me up for one if you do another run. Paypal standing by. These look gorgeous and I love the emblem design, great work!
  4. Hi Adrian, Get in touch with Le Tran at 2002 Garagewerks in Ontario, California. Le is known on these boards as well as the community for being a stand-up dude. I purchased my 72tii from him late last year after a lengthy search and couldn't be happier! He is most active on FB and IG. His website and a reference from this board are below, good luck with your search! (no affiliation other than a satisfied customer!) http://www.2002garagewerks.com/ --Sean
  5. When the store policy section is longer than the listing that's my barometer for taking my business elsewhere [emoji23]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. @sgaffman I don't seem to post very often but working on changing that.
  7. My buddy runs rallies on dirt in his Alfa on Pirelli CN36s and I know they make them in a 185/70R13. Maybe something to consider? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cool story and glad to read you still have your car you bought in HS! If only I was that smart! (had a '68 Bronco and later an E30 M3...oof) Lay out a plan with what you want out of the build and execute it! Tons of help on here and the 02 FB groups - best of luck and keep us updated!
  9. There's been a 73tii in Golf fs since about early April on eBay (NM/NA). Google says it's less than 2hrs away from Toronto. Here's a link to the last posted auction on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-BMW-2002-TII-/252883520625?hash=item3ae1084c71:g:SAkAAOSw3ZRY-gr2&vxp=mtr Good luck!

  13. If this was Hubert Hahnes' personal vehicle, then maybe 45k. Great looking time capsule, asinine price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I showed this video to my girlfriend, she asked "why aren't the other cars racing?" [emoji23][emoji23] This is an awesome video! The engine sound, the constant work on the steering wheel, just really cool to watch! Thanks for posting [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Not to sound like Yogi Berra but the market is the market . If someone is willing to pay for it, that's what sets the market. You can ask whatever you want but until someone shows up with some Franklins and actually pays for it, it's just an asking price. Exhibit A is the dustball 74tii in Vegas currently on Craigslist at $45k - been FS for a while because no one is paying that for that car. Exhibit B is the newly listed 68 M2 on fleaBay with a lovely asking price of $49k with no real info on who did the work and a very poorly blended flair job . With regard to the VIN tag missing on the steering pad - the concern for me would be on a car advertised as an original mile "survivor" I wouldn't expect that part to have been swapped or changed, i.e. the VIN tag should still be there. But in 40+ years anything is possible.
  17. Haha! I had one installed by Le Tran at 02 Garagewerks on my 72tii and it's definitely the business! Get the Bluetooth model so changes can be made from your smartphone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
