  3. You should probably not post your name and address on a public internet forum. A better way would be to send a private message (PM) to the URO Parts Support person. Fwiw this level of support is rad, kuddos URO!!
  4. Hey congrats on the score! I've got a nice vintage Stahl header and some other bits you might be interested in and I'm local to Santa Rosa too. PM me and we can arrange to meet up. I'm not looking to get rich lol just meet some local enthusiasts. --Sean
  5. I have a couple stripped seat nuts and was looking to see if someone had some extra 51-16-1-813-920 laying around they'd like to sell. I'd be happy to pay your costs + shipping. Link from ECS w/ pic for attention: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/clip-no-longer-available/51161813920/ Thanks in advance! --Sean
  6. If you get one of these you don't need to worry if the trans has a speed output or not, and you can use your stock speedo instead of a GPS speedo (same company makes both): It's the Speedbox by Speedhut, I have it in my 72 with a 240 and it's legit, hides behind the console so you'd never even know it's there.
  7. I have a freshly rebuilt 3.64 LSD I purchased off member RussTii on here. Worked great and I put about 500mi on it but decided I wanted a 3.91 LSD and so I pulled it. Pics available on request, I have it in a small wood box, drained and ready to ship, I think I paid about $75 to ship it from ATL to CA when I got it last year. Shoot me a PM if you want to work a deal out. Original link I purchased from:
  8. I highly recommend a visit to Mt. Titlis in Switzerland, no shortage of lofty peaks.
  9. I'd love to join the queue too for one of these and have paypal standing by. Very cool product!
  10. Really awesome build Ken, definitely worth the attention, congrats!
  11. Ceylon is such a rad color! I had to do a double-take because I saw the Ceylon 72tii go on BaT last week and thought this was the same car but this is a 73...and appears about a nice as one could make it holy smokes! re: Silver Arrow, they're currently listing a 57 300SL Gullwing on BaT that had a near 7 figure opening bid and have quite the sales history on there: https://bringatrailer.com/member/silverarrowcarsltd/ The euro 72tii and the 73 3.0CSL they sold recently were pretty slick rides too.
  12. I installed a set of Paul's 480psi injectors and I am super happy with how they turned out. Finding a matched set of injectors like this was next to impossible and his injectors just woke my engine up big time. Thank you for the awesome work Paul!
  13. Schatzi or "the 02" depending on the day/project currently taking place...
  14. I'm marking this as "sold" as I've had a few people contact me recently about its availability - it has not changed hands, I've decided to keep it. It's amazing what a few months time will do to your priorities in life, but after watching my perfectly healthy father suffer a major stroke in early Feb and lose his ability to speak or use his right side, I'm thankful I still have this car, the memories of us working on it together, and I'm able to drive it. Since listing it, I've had the head rebuilt and new 4spd installed (thanks KB!), the correct tii tank, a 364 LSD, Recaros, and finally I'll start to look at prepping for paint/fixing the trunk floor etc along with anything else along the way I may find...no concourse level recreations here, just some good old garage fun! ?
  15. Yeah it wasn't a great experience and for anyone thinking about it, you'll likely be as successful if not more advertising it to your local enthusiast groups on FB and forums like this.
  16. Thanks man, yeah it happens and life will go on. It's more than a little frustrating when the guy admits in writing he didn't look at the ad hard enough and upon further review of the ad he won't even honor his 27k bid..."cool story Hansel" ? Oh well, onward and upward we go!
  17. I'm sad too @jp5Touring this has not been a fun process. I've been as transparent as I can be, I'm not a flipper, and I don't need to make a certain number on this car to keep a business running. I'm just a former enthusiast and I need to get the car to someone who will actually enjoy seeing it in their garage. If it doesn't say obo on there it should, I'm listening to any and all offers on this car, including trades. Hopefully someone has a new-to-them 72tii in their garage this weekend...
  18. Tried but can't help it when bidders get cold feet.
  19. For full details, visit my Bring a Trailer auction that was live last week: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-2002tii-40/ Also have a set of e21 Recaros and a Getrag 245 5spd buyer can negotiate.
  20. Hi, do you have a fuel tank for a 72tii? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. How about you read a little then issue an apology for insinuating someone you've had zero dealings with isn't honest? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/225429-beware-of-agavee/&share_tid=225429&share_fid=66700&share_type=t Better yet, send a DNA sample too so we know your apology is legit.
