  1. Both are real chrome pieces (not plastic) in great condition. Interested in trade. Contact me if interested.
  2. Do you have any early door panels?
  3. I think so, they even had one saying poor economy, fair, good and so on.
  4. Never mind found it on google images but Smith rep couldn't find it in their catalog. Cheers
  5. Didn't find it in their range, also checked VDO. Need model number or type to look it up maybe.
  6. I need help finding the type (model) and maker of this vacuum gauge. Thanks in advance.
  7. PayPal seller's fee is 2.9% of what you received + $0.30 = $52.50 which is a small assurance fee for your asking price and location. I'm not American and completely impartial to your statement about America but what history thought me is that Romania allied with Hitler and Romanian soldiers massacred over 260,000 innocent and defenceless people and put them in mass graves while the Americans and Allies were getting killed defending the freedom and liberty of the world.
  8. Does anyone know if these flares are still being sold? I haven't seen anything like it, they're so good.
  9. Yeah not doing this for profit, just working on the idea of 3D scan and make based on order at cost or share the file so members here can benefit.
  10. Hi Wolfgang, I have both ashtray and glove box metal chrome trim in good conditions, are these no longer available from BMW in Germany? I was planing to have the glove box chrome remade if there were enough interest.
  11. I have the glove box and ashtray chrome pieces in my spare stash and I can assure you they're not plastic. They're either anodised aluminium or chromed metal.
  12. So I finally had these shift thread inserts made from aluminium. Does anyone know what other BMW's are compatible with M15 x 1.5 thread? E9, E12?
  13. So that's where the ashtray is suppose to go, inside the dashboard? I was hoping it would mount to middle console same as normal ashtray. I might have to find a way to retrofit it for decoration, I'm not a smoker anyway.
  14. Found this chrome glove box in my spare stash. I also have a chrome ashtray. Are these from earlier models or were these 02 options? Thanks
  15. Finished product. This is identical in size and shape to classic 70s Moto-Lita shift knob. Badge is custom hard enamel and polished copper in memory of 02 (number 255 Jägermeister) in 1973 Rallye Monte Carlo made of Australian river gum tree. I've ordered M15x1.5 thread inserts to be made by CNC.
  16. So did you source the exact material? What is it made of? I'll take a set.
  17. lol thanks mate, tapping the pipe is not an issue, finding the right size pipe with correct inside diameter is my challenge. I'm trying to find 13.5mm (0.531") inside diameter pipe either in copper, brass or aluminum with minimum outside diameter of 17mm (1mm wall thickness). I'll have a go at 14mm ID pipe since 13.5mm ID is not available.
  18. Just making 5 pieces for myself and other local 02 owners. I will look into CNC costs but not sure If I can sell the leftover thread inserts since the CNC cost is volume dependant.
  19. So if the drill size for M15 x 1.5 tap is 13.5mm, does that mean I have to get a copper pipe with internal diameter of 13.5mm? I could prob find 14mm.
  20. I'm making some round wooden knobs from Australian river gum tree which is beautiful redish colour. Design will be similar to early Porsche round gear knob with custom badge. I cant find thread inserts anywhere and Helicoil inserts tools are expensive. I'm wondering if I could use a 15mm copper pipe with 2mm wall thickness and thread it with M15 x 1.5 tap then clue it inside the wooden shift knob. Since copper is expandable, it will create thin and solid thread (I will blind the other end of the tube). Any other ideas would be appreciated.
  21. Dont need the red tip or cable. Just looking for a working antenna with H cap. Photo is google sample.
