  1. Don't think they're the same but you can compare with the photo I posted.
  2. All 02s should have them, it's at the back of the fuse housing so you won't see it.
  3. I have a Drenth dg400 if you're interested. Here is a video of dg400 in action.
  4. Does anyone know where I can get a correct colour coded image pattern of the fuse box cardboard? I found a few on google but they're not all the same. I'm looking for one to suite my 73tii so I can print the right pattern on the new one I'm making. Thanks
  5. Actually the re-chrome looks 10 times better than the NOS that's been chromed over 40 years ago and Uro lenses are oem quality and less prone to vibration cracks since they're also not a 40+ year old product. Same goes for the seals if they're too NOS. I mean no purpose in devaluing your sale. It's your choice to sell your items at the price you like but since this is not a paid auction site, others can share their input for the benefit of the forum. Aussie guy!
  6. +1 Cost me $40 to have both chrome housings re-chromed.
  7. I've got the yellow one and 3 years on, still no problem.
  8. This was done in 2011 by another company using the same facility. Since then, over $100M spent on new technology & upgrades. However, I'm gonna drop this offer now. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated it.
  9. S14 head on M10 block There is a shop in Western Australia that custom fit S14 head on M10 blocks. The following was extracted from their notes: ************************************ The s14 crank rods and pistons are in as is the cam-chain and guides. The modified m10 front cover has had the tensioner tube chopped off reamed and a 20mm core plug pushed in, then the front crank seal hole machined from (m10)55mm to (s14)60mm and fitted, the m10 block face needs the water holes drilled between the bores to suit the s14 head and gasket. a small square hole for gravity fed oil return, rear corner of head on the s14 ,has no such thing on the m10 block, so blocking the drain on the s14 cambox in the lower corner and then drilling a hole/path from the cambox to top of head next to drain hole leading down to the valve springs etc, makes a clean direct path for the oil to return to the sump and crankcase breathing in the same position as the m10 block! next the oil breather and separator system on Tii’s run through a tube sticking out in the side of the block casting just above the dipstick but the s14 is in the top of the lower half of the alloy sump after passing through the separator placed under the starter motor. One shock difference is the amount of veins and how large the impeller is on the s14 water pump over the m10′s! However some things are the same as s14 on the m10 and should be no suprise, parts like front timing and rear crank covers to block, chain guides, most water and all oil holes on block face. The m10 front cover had the chain tensioner on it, once removed and a core plug was fitted the front crank seal hole made 5mm larger is the same as factory supplied s14! The standard S14 head gasket then fits as it should, timing chain etc . All m10, s14 crank journals and bearings sizes are the same type and size, those wacky Germans ************************************ Another word, too costly. Which bring me back to my original idea of using Ford or something else which is cheaper.
  10. Yes can still do the steering close ratio bits but they weren't made for the RHD cars so we don't have them here in Aus. Someone need to send me one and I'll copy it even though I wont be able to use it on my own car.
  11. There isn't any money spent besides the machine hours for me. Unlike the guy that's asking €25k for copying a Schnitzer head. And as far as every other components, since the head is going to be machined, it can be machined to be compatible to BMW components. (If it's machined from a billet). I'm basically putting my hand up saying that I can machine this out of billet or casting for the price of machine hour cost if someone can either scan a current s14 or Schnitzer etc and send me the file. I can make adjustments on computer to align oil/water lines if needed. I'm going to look for s14 head to buy and will discuss approximate machine cost with in house engineers next week.
  12. Yes for €25k I can machine an M12 head for you signed by Angelina Jolie and she will adopt you after! Wow, €25k. Back in Dinosaur days BMW, Schintzer or Alpina spent countless hours to design, draw and hand make prototypes then spend months to perfect it. Now we use computers and the AI does it in few hours. All I need is the spec for the head or a talented auto mechanical engineer to calculate cylinder head measurements that can be used with current BMW components of any suitable model and draw it in cad. You need to drill the M10 block to allow oil return as I was told. I never had the S14 top end so can't say. What about any non BMW twin cam casting if any that could be machined?
  13. Billet but I can also machine a casting like the S14 but the problem is sourcing S14 head is costly.
  14. I have access to a world class engineering factory with latest computerised machinery (free access) here in Australia. I need to know if its possible to machine a twin cam head from ground up and if yes, where can I get the measurements from or can it be designed by one of you experienced mechanical engineers? Something simple that could bolt on to M10 block. Thought about S14 head with alteration to match M10's internal plumbing but all I can do is to put the numbers in computers and press start. I can do a small batch and share them here at cost. Let me know if its possible or not.
  15. I filled a syringe with acetone and put drops of acetone on glue while using a fine sandpaper to get rid of the glue. Takes a bit of acetone but it all came off in half an hour.
  16. I wasn't the first offer he received. I just made him an offer that was fair for the actual value of tii struts and got outbid after. No offence taken. Like you, I was the only person who raised concerns about PM bidding last year when a seller marked the item "Sold" after I was the first respond in thread. Seller sold the item to someone else through PM bid. I complained about the ethic of sales here on faq but no one cared and most responses I received indicated that it was up to the seller as how he wish to proceed with his sales. I didn't have the link to standard rules of FAQ at the time so I lost that argument.
  17. I sent him an offer of $500 minute after as he posted this ad. He first agreed but after I asked for his payment details he just got back to me saying: On 1 Jan 2018, at 7:52 PM, Name Removed "airpowerinc" wrote: Current offer is 675 plus freight Want to make another offer? *********** This clown is now in my ban list.

    E9 Forum

Is anyone here also a member of E9 Coup forum? I've been trying to get in touch with moderator Dang and he hasn't replied to my messages. I've joined the forum ages ago and he didn't activate my account. I've used other mail servers to get in touch with no avail but I can see new members joining with no problems so he's active. Could anyone send him a message through e9 forum for me and see if he's received my messages? Thanks
