  1. Heard a lot of negative feedback from muscle car racers on club days. Was told APRacing is good. But I need 3.5" mounting hole space for APRacing. On the other note, is it possible to use E21 struts on Tii? Was told stub axles are same.
  2. haha I meant it will be a concern if I'm not able to upgrade to coilovers and better calipers like APRacing. If I can do these with my current struts (being non tii) then my problems are solved.
  3. Is this still available?
  4. Highly boosted turbo M10 here. Solid braking is my main concern, then coilovers.
  5. It seems like the po replaced the oem tii struts with basic 02s. My plans were to upgrade brakes and suspension to coilovers. I can easily have access to E24 635Ci calipers but I guess they won't fit now. My main issue is that running 15" wheels and Volvo calipers on smaller diameter spindle shaft than tii, would is put stress on bearings? Should I start looking for tii trusts to upgrade brakes from Volvo's? Thanks
  6. Thanks everyone, I'll check the space between the mounts and report back. Cheers
  7. I was told it's not possible to instal Volvo callipers on Tii struts with vented e21 discs. Well I own a Tii and it came as half finished project with vented discs and Volvo callipers. How do I clarify this? Also would e24 callipers be a better braking option than my current volvo's? I'm looking to upgrade. Thanks
  8. Knobs for Becker radio, same style as this one here
  9. Do you also sell spare parts for Becker?
  10. Welcome mate. There is a thread under "Classified" section named "Parts wanted". Post your WTB's there. Also lookup blunttech and rogertii for those parts. Good luck
  11. That's cute! Try fitting header, dump pipe and turbo to a RHD car! [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] Yes, snorkel the intake over the radiator to left side. That's what I'm doing but I'll be using a stainless steel pipe and aluminium air box where the battery used to be (road regulations here). Also, for the love of horsepower, get rid of that water pump and fan!
  12. Did the 1971 euro style 02s come with long console? (not the USA market 02s)
  13. Thanks that'd be great. Your design has USA in it. I like to copy the oem text for Australia which is BMW 2002TII.
  14. I could be interested. Is it possible to change text?
  15. Have you got a photo of their stamped plate by any chance?
  16. Ok I have just finished removing the slats. It wasn't a gorilla snot, it was Godzilla snot! Thanks to Simeon for his recommendation for using acetone. For anyone with same problem searching this topic and trying to remove the stubborn slats, here is what I did so you can follow this if all other methods fail. I would definitely recommend doing this outdoor and use a mask. Acetone fumes are unbearable and toxic. First I thought of dipping both grills in acetone but it seemed like an expensive project with acetone being $20 a litre. Then I decided to use a syringe to insert acetone in between the gaps which worked like a charm on one grill but the glue on other one seemed like it was welded. So using a cutting knife, I patiently made an opening and then applied acetone. So here is what you need: Draw acetone with syringe and use the gaps to insert in between the slats and grills. Wait 5-10 min then use a box cutter knife to separate the slats gently by running it down the gaps. You might have to repeat last step depending on how strong the bond is. Do not put too much pressure on the slats as it might break. It should come off after a few repeat. Thanks again to everyone for brainstorming. Cheers
  17. Thanks I wanted to know if there were different font variations. I think the link provided by roundeie shows coupking has BMW 2002TII blank vin plates.
  18. Yes, I wasn't sure if they were made in same font style from 66-76. I need to source somethings closer to this font so it would look closer to oem rather than an obvious copy even thought the original plate is retained. Cheers
  19. So I looked up the metal punchers online and can't find one close to the oem punch. The oem vin punch is like a razor cut font. So considering you're in Europe, is your oem vin plate font is same as mine?
  20. Maybe 4mm set would've been more accurate?
  21. Thanks Champ. I'm after a stock look. Although we can't touch vin plate in Australia, we have to prove its completely damage then order a new one through authorised mechanic.
  22. Not sure, I call it stamped but it's kinda punched. I need it to look like oem vin tag.
  23. Dude we have identical Inkas, take Simon's advice and don't butcher your car. When I got my car back from paint shop, I was gonna do flares and other kits but eventually I realised I'm in love with the original look. Spend your money under the bonnet!
