  1. This exhaust comes from a beautiful 1960s Ferrari Pininfarina. Will look great on my tii project.
  2. 51367040572 This is on back order from BMW (currently not available). Its the rubber gasket that is used for rear vent window latch protecting the glass. Has anyone got new spares for sale? Any suggestion for alternatives? Thanks
  3. Thanks, I need to send them to get anodised and these covers can't be on it. Will try acetone.
  4. Is there a trick in removing the black covers without braking the grill? I've tried heating and all sort of magic but its just not coming off without breaking the grill. Any ideas? Is the black cover made of aluminum too? Thanks
  5. Yes of course, all you need is a pre 73 heater valve and a reducer hose. You can buy the hose on eBay for less than $10. The in/outlet diameter of 72 valve is smaller than 73-76 so you'd need the reducer. If you're planning to pull the box out then do proper restoration. There are some useful tips & tutorials here but my only tip is to take photos of each step and bag/mark items accordingly so you can reverse the project for assembly. Remember, same heater box was installed in RHD cars so it's easy to get confused at re-assembly because rods and cables are installed the other way around. So just because it looks right, it doesn't mean it is! Cheers
  6. I downgraded from 73 heater valve to 72 and used this silicon hose as converter. Perfect match. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261360919429
  7. I'm still looking for donation housings. People tend to hold on to their broken turn signals for future investments. lol Once I get a donation or find a cheap broken pair, I'll sync my progress with you.
  8. Yes it seems like a valve seal issue, possibly the smaller one that seals the valve shaft. It's hard to remove the valve but you need to be careful not to break the plastic valve bracket. Blunt sells the valve repair kit. I had the same issue with my 73 but decided to downgrade my valve to 72 which is fault proof (brass internal rather than plastic). It only cost me $0.50 for a new seal.
  9. Thanks John! This solved my problem. I was given a wrong bolt pattern. Seems like the photo I had was petri bolt pattern. Are Momo hubs and compatible 2002 horn button hard to source?
  10. Can I install any Momo wheel by buying a generic Momo hub or are there specific hubs for certain Momo models? I checked the face bolt pattern (bolts around horn button) between the two Momo models from BMW and Mercedes and they're different.
  11. I am very happy with my two piece factory installed AC system. But I can't be judgemental, I'm a recreational driver.
  12. Correct! iPhone, fees and income tax will take 20%. That's 20cent a dollar for clean 80 cents. eBay know about this but they'll stay quiet until federal police work this out. I just hope they fine eBay.
  13. Thanks but I bought a complete new roof lining and had it reupholstered.
  14. Part number 54 12 9 434 109. I have the sunroof and assembly. Missing the bottom trim piece that has this frame covered with headlining and foam. Please see attached photos:
  15. Sure, PayPal sent. Thank you
  16. You sure shipping is $2.50? I'm in Australia. Let me know
  17. Yes that's it, you sell? [emoji3]
  18. Heater is a sealed unit so leak is always either associated with the core, hose or valve seal. I know the heater back n forth. When you say input stalk, you mean between the valve and core? Where's the leak ending, in firewall cowl or footwell?
  19. I've lost the black plastic cap for the Bosch motor. Left if in parts bag during heater restoration and now I cant find it. Long shot but if anyone have a spare and willing to part with, then hit me up. Cheers
