    Carl, Isn't your "normal" loaner in Ohio at the moment ? How long will you have this loaner ? Ken

    A kill switch will help keep the kids at bay. If someone really wanted the car, a kill switch wouldn't be a match for a tow truck or flat bed. Having the car in a locked garage certainly would cut out most thefts, but if someone really wants the car they will probably figure out a way to get it.

    The 118 to 405 I know well, drive it every day to work. YEARS ago I had a 68 that did the same thing. Got on the 405 north just before the 101 and the exhaust broke just after the exhaust manifold. That was one loud ride home

    I drive the freeways of LA during the week and will keep an eye out for "Betsy". I rarely see a 02 so would stick out if I happened to see it.

    Jake is doing all the work so I hope there are no questions Years ago I owned a 68, 70, and a 76. While I was able to do most of the work on those cars, doing a M42 swap with a turbo is probably more than I want to tackle. In the next month or so I'm going to fly back to Michigan and drive the car back to SoCal. Haven't decided on the route but I hope to find some fun roads along the way.

    I was disappointed that I missed meeting everyone and checking out all of the nice 02s. I've learned and won't make that mistake next time !!

    Sorry to say that it is not my ride and I probably wasn't who you talked too. I just happened to be standing there when the trophy was placed on the roof. I'm waiting on JakeB to finish my car in the near future. One of these days I'll be joining everyone at these type of events. Ken

    Went to get some gas today, 5/6/15, at Costco around 11:15am. Saw a black square tail zip by on the road next to the gas station. Didn't get a great look but was surprised as I don't see 02s very often.

    I actually met up with Phil a couple of weeks ago. Nice guy and very reasonable and easy to work with. He mentioned that he was having surgery in the next week so he might be slow to reply.
