    Tesoro will be done with black interior... original white headliner with World Uph Squareweave Black. I was thinking of doing the black headliner, with my black porsche singer style seats, and black carpeting ... but with a black car... it would be like stepping into a black hole... LOL! Adding contrast will add depth to the whole interior experience...

    Thanks Steve! Very true on the recommendations for standard or "custom" interior colors for back in the day .... (Love that "dove gray" color but it seems to only work with a Malaga car... However... I could see that gray color in a "Bristol or even Florida" colored 02! That would look pretty sweet!- but we know that the gray didn't pop on until later model 02s) I was inquiring about the "standard" colors for each exterior color code... Good to know Steve! Thank you again!

    Thank you! That's exactly what I suspected! I noticed the ORIGINAL baikal car from Mitty 2015 BMW Factory Show, that the interior was BLACK.... so I just wanted to make sure ... Someone should do a color chart for ORIGINAL exterior colors with ORIGINAL interior color....

    Can anyone tell me the original color interior for a 73 tii Baikal ? Same question for Fjord 73 tii .... Was the ORIGINAL interior Saddle/Tabacco/Marine Blue or Black?

    Awww no! It breaks my heart to see this Ian! Glad you were able to recover Betsy.... ! Seeing something like this, you know it has to be someone who knows their 02 stuff... what a low life to have to steal from someone else instead of working hard for 02 parts like the rest of us! The 02 community is a small community, something or someone will get noticed and we'll eventually find out what happened. Note to self... (I am tattooing all of Tesoro's parts with an etching pen!)

    Hi COOP! I've been following your story with this tii re-restoration on the FAQ and it's turned out to be an amazing example of an original tii resurrected! Kudos to Delia and A1 for helping you achieve your dream! I am looking forward to seeing your tii at LOTA! Perhaps you'll see Tesoro at next years LOTA!
