    start with the basics. do an oil change and rotate the tires. learn to gap and install spark plugs. replace the air filter and fuel filter. all easy stuff and while you're doing these things you'll look around and say " what's this" and " how does this work" all the while getting more comfortable with a wrench in your hand. pretty soon you'll be setting the timing and bleeding brakes. as for setting the mixture or curing the rough running, let the pro handle that for you.

    I've got two sets. One from a 72 and one from a76, both have headrests. the tan76 set wasn't in bad shape and just needed new stuffing but it has been sitting out under my deck for a year. Are you going to UAB? I'm just outside of Birmingham and would be happy to help you look over the prospective purchase.     Guys, make sure you keep me informed of your events on the soutwest side of town. My daughter lives in Fayetteville so I'm over there all of the time. I second jbird's comments on the roads in west Fayette and Cowetta counties. I used to bicycle all over that area and the roads are great. Zac, thanks for arranging the drive. Glenn, make sure you send me that UPS number so I can get rid of, err, I mean send you a starter;-) Bill

    Thanks Daaren. Rest assured that the manuals will be scanned and posted here. As a result of this purchase, I have tons of Clardy parts available. This includes two good consoles, one complete and one missing just one side. Two complete interior fan/condensor coil pack units. some of the engine bay components and lines, good front fan and coils. All, please let me know if you need something. Please!!

    Way cool! Well done example...face it, this was the original tuner car and this one is tuned. Looks like a lot of fun to own and drive. I do, however, wonder why there is a 6-year gap in this guys history selling cars. Short stay at the Gray Bar?
