I agree with Bill about using PBR. That is the old Repco pad, and I've used them on my tii for 30+ years. The only place I differ is I run the PBR Deluxe which is an organic pad instead of a semi-metalic. They stop great, have virtually no dust or squeal, and are easier on the discs than the Metal-Masters. The Metal Master is a good choice if you run a car hard, but also need time to get hot before they are effective. I run these on all my BMWs except my E60 (not available yet) and even on my Tundra. Everyone always asks how I keep my alloy wheels so clean!
BTW, I know Mesa Performance online carries them in stock and has good prices, but they are widely available at good import part suppliers.
That is good to know, I just put PBR Deluxe pads, new rotors and wheel bearings on the Touring. It is sure nice to be able to stop again without drastic pull to the left, and that horrible scraping sound. I still try to compensate for the pull but don't have to anymore. I do like the Deluxe pads, of course, anything is better than metal to metal.
