  1. Did you talk?? Any thoughts? Careful with John Barlow, guzzled down all my complimentary wine last time I arranged a room for him....j/k
  2. [waking up after sharing the same bed on the motel] John: Ray... Why did you kiss my ear? Ray: Why are you holding my hand? John: [frowns] Where's your other hand? Ray: Between two pillows... John: Those aren't pillows! Looks a lot like them......I think I will get my own room, thank you.. For some reason I think that Hamada and his wife will opt for their own room too.

  5. Scary to think we share the road with these people...
  6. Yes, it is not necessary to be in 1K oaks before thurs AM. If I go, I will drive to TO on thurs AM, and might come home late fri nite.
  7. Just E-mail them at targacalifornia@gmail.com and they will E-mail you the registration forms. Good group of Porsche guys. Too much info floating about on the internet can put a damper on some great driving events. This gives them some control. Let me know what you decide, I still have make my final decision and arrange a room. There is NO charge to do the drive, just food and housing.
  8. Seriously thinking about driving the Targa California in early April http://targacalifornia.net/?page_id=74. Anyone else so inclined? Looks like a great tour of central California roads. Thinking about sharing a room, or maybe even have room for a co-pilot. Open for discussion. Last years pics http://targacalifornia.net/?page_id=508
  9. We can tell who has the 5-speed transmission. With my 4:11 diff and 4 speed, 5k doesn't get me close to 100.
  10. Now I know what you are talking about.....Saw him destroy a great bottle of Pinot Noir(sorta Malaga colored)....sucked it dry. But he never felt guilty about that, and didn't bother to replace it. I now know better than to mention the "M...." word to him again. RIP
  11. Once again, your meanness shows through! You probably beat up that early malaga with the tarp covering the windows - because it took your parking space or you did not like the color of the antenna tip! You probably still have the original owner under there - without any tv and probably with just pringles and no guacamole! You did all that damage with your bare hands? If there was a show in town, you selfishly kept it to yourself! Why didn't you rent a hospitality suite with a big screen tv, and send everyone engraved invitations? Mean, mean, mean! I hope the next run you make on Whonose, a big insect goes splat on your windshield! A friend If you did that to a Malaga, what would you do to an Inka??

  15. I think it is because he is a new father and probably suffering from lack of sleep, which makes us somewhat prone to stupid errors. Erik, call me if you are still unsuccessful, maybe one of my keys might just make it work. Stranger things have happened. Good luck and take care of that baby (the real one, not the 02)
  16. Thanks for that link, Joseph...here is a site that also has some great old photos of early California racing. http://www.tamsoldracecarsite.net/index.html#SpecialSections
  17. You have to remember that Michael has been given cars nicer than yours for free. Then again, he is such a nice guy that he deserves them... I would think that between $500 and $1K depending on the condition of the mechanicals would be reasonable. good luck
  18. pretty amazing when a bunch of them all gather together.... Newport Beach California....in case you are wondering..
  19. I can only afford an hour a year....should be good for about 200 miles if I hurry.
  20. Lets see now......$25K for the big bumper 76, and $40K for the touring, Sell them both for $60K package deal. Wow, and I thought I was broke. Now if only I can get the 76 started. B-J auction $25K Mine....not quite as nice E-bay $40K buy it now. Mine....no Alpina goodies, no sunroof, and only a 1802 Nah....I guess I will keep them.
  21. Check with Nick at this website http://www.m2bmw.com/ he is somewhat local to you (England, France) and I believe his Touring is also RHD. Good luck and welcome,
  22. +1 plus it is fun to try to follow napa02 through the hills in the "Shamrock Rally"
  23. I would settle for the 10% premium.....now if I could find someway to tow it to Scottsdale.....I guess I could make mine look like that for less than $20K $2,475.00 $24,750.00
