Does anybody has seen one of the 200 built 2002 full cabrio's on the road?

ago--his is unique in that it's a US spec car with a US VIN, so the factory must have built 201 cars. According to what he learned, it was an overseas delivery car ordered by a US military member. When the car was being ordered, among the available options was "cabriolet." When the buyer asked what that meant, he was told checking that box and paying the option cost would get him a convertible. He did, and he did.

And it's a full US spec model...

I've seen one during the caravan to the 2008 Vintage @ Vineyard but didn't get a photo. Here is a 1600 Cabrio that was at the event.

Yes I have. Rob Torres of 2002Haus had one that he owned for I guess about 10 years... recently sold his one of 200 real 2002 Voll Cabs....

1600 Voll Cabs are relatively much more plentiful as they made over 1600 of them.

Ah, but Mike, Carl's car is a 1600, not a 2002. The VIN is one of the 1682 1600 Cabs built. It is a full US spec car, though, making it basically one of one.

Got to borrow it for a while earlier in the year, it's an absolutely terrific car.

Yes, it has a 2 liter, but that's only because it's not original. Nor the 5 speed behind it. But that's just 2 of the things that make it so nice to drive.
