"The Stance Thread"

It might be an illusion due to the lack of side trim and the exhaust(?) hanging down, but to mee it looks as if they cut off too much when fitting those flares and the rear started sagging..

Either way it's not my cup of tea, but that's a question of taste, I know. I probably should stay clear of the stance thread=)

and the exhaust(?) hanging down

it appears to be a bizarre implimentation of the current ricer fad of installing "tow hooks".  i guess they are needed for when the cars too low ride height causes them to high center on speed bumps.  their buddies can quickly hook up and drag them off before anyone sees what happened.....

I call them helicopter hooks.  Once the beach themselves on a speed bump or get stuck in a pot hole (possible here in the Bay Area), then they can have a helicopter hook them up and fly them home with there heads hiding between their legs.

naw...the helicopters can more easily hook on to the "convenient carrying handle" shaped ineffective wing on the trunk lid....

Just mounted on the rears, a set of ESM-003SL wheels, 17 x 8.5 (ET25), with 205/45's. They rubbed, and would not clear. Rolled the fenders, PERFECT, no rub's, looks COOL (IMO)

The 17 x 8.5's would not work up front, going to put on a set of 17 x 7, with 195/45's

I think that Black 02 on Stancenation is pretty cool.. the bodywork could be a bit better for a black car and I think that the rear of that car has been hit. Most 2002s that get hit dead on in the rear usually makes the whole rear end sag pretty badly.

Other than that... I think it's unique and hell.. it's another 2002 that's been saved from the junkyard. so thumbups!
