Can anyone tell me how to remove the wing window knob on the door panel? I have everything else removed and dont want to damage the knob. Is there senter cap hiding the screw like the door and window handle?

Thanks for the help.

There is a hole on the otherside of that round knob. Use a small screw driver to punch out the cover from the rear. Remove the cover and there is a screw on the inside. Simple removal. If you cant remove the cover from the rear, I used a thin knife blade to remove it from the front. Good luck!

Use as large of an allen wrench as possible to prise the cap out. If the screwdriver or allen wrench is too small, you ~could~ poke through the cap. Have you priced new caps?

Some caps fit super tight, others pop right out.

I thought prise-ing worked only for English cars.

Got it. Thanks.

Now any suggestions on pulling out the wing window and the outer trim piece that goes along the top of the door?

Chad

Right along where that round handle was, there are 3? or 4 10mm bolts that hold it on the door. Not sure how to remove it, since Ive never done that. Good luck.

can be removed by tapping upwards on it from the bottom with a wooden wedge or hard rubber door stop/wedge. Do a bit at a time, working your way along, but don't drop it!

Then contact "Blunt" for new weatherstripping if you need some.
