I don't have the nerve to drive an F1 car in the rain, but I have been known to do this:

I'm driving the VW in this photo. Sometimes visibility can be fairly poor (in-cockpit IFR, for those of you that also drive airplanes)

For 2002 content, here's my race car on a lake in 1992 or so:

that second clip reminded me of driving my 72 Camaro through the streets of Heidelberg germany at 5 am to get the girl that had gone parking with me home before her dad got up. Mine was up when I got home, he just asked me why I was sweating so much. that first one all I can say is HO--FU$%!!!!!!

hey blunt I would love to drive something like that,

since I race 125 shifter kart and hold the championship for three years

its such a blast to race in the rain , you cant drive your normal lines, you have to stay off the rubber that on the track or you will spin out.

they say driving a shifter kart is the closest thing to f1, who knows.

I know it just a blast doing 100 mph one inch off the ground.

I would imagine the traction control and abs help out quite a bit here.

There is already no ABS in F1.

That was the best bit of racing I've seen in F1 in a long time. Hell they should have sprinklers wetting the track when it's not raining.

Sooo, last time I looked these pics didn't load for me. I remember watching this kinda stuff when I was a kid. I think there were a total of 8 channels on the TV at the time and somehow my grandmother mysteriously got channel 13 and we didn't. So anyway, this was one of those things I'd turn on and sit and watch for a while until my mother would come along, realize what I was watching and the notions that were traversing my head. It always ended teh same. She'd change the channel. Those are some awesome shots CD.
