Removing duct tape adhesive from seat vinyl? Best treatment?

My 67 has the original rear upholstry, but htere's what looks like duct tape adhesive on the vinyl. I really don't want to experiment, anyone know what the best thig to use would be to clean it off?  The car hasn't been used much since 74, any recommendations on what to use to get the vinyl into as  good a shape as possible?

Barrett, I’d try goo-gone or another citrus-type cleaner that’s good at removing stickers/sticker-glue… I’ve used it successfully to remove all kinds of stuck-on stuff on many different surfaces including vinyl/plastic.

WD-40 also works well.

After the glue is removed try a little Goop hand cleaner on the old vinyl .

It doesn't last but it will clean and shine
