Sure looks good until you get to the VIN. Also no cowl notch.

What is this supposed to be?

The engine bay shows off an ultra-tidy presentation while the clean undercarriage shows the thoroughness off the restoration. One of the reasons this is all worth showcasing is because the Tii had the motor that really earned The Ultimate Driving Machine reputation.

+1

Nick,

The “Wheeler-Dealer tii“ had the notch filled during its repaint — probably viewing the notch as post-factory butchery. Maybe that’s not the only tii where the body man healed the wound… 😉

Best regards,

Steve

As noted above, a Euro tii manufactured 7 Nov '74. Was resto'd by Oldenzaal a few years back, and looks ok, even with older door panels. It does have a cowl cut-out, it is just covered by a rubber strip. Pic below from Oldenzaal sale.

It's exactly what they did with mine, new Euro nose with snorkel, de-snorkel, metal work, a little filler and bobs your uncle.  You would really have to be inspector detector to know otherwise (short of stripping the paint and primer) virtually impossible to tell the difference.  Honestly, this car looks pretty good to me at first look.
