02 group touring in Japan

o2 community in japan is very active thanks for Mr. Shimizu, a guy organizing 02 group here in Tokyo.  This is my first touring with other 02 owner after i moved back to japan from SF bay area. I enjoyed beautiful view of Mt. Fuji as well as sounds of exhaust noise from e10.  02 owners in Japan are all perfectionists. Cars are well maintained and so shiny. Two lamborghini (one aventador) and one porsche 911 joined touring today. I do not know how many turbo imported in japan, but i am sure four turbo in the same photo is very rare!

Cool pics!  Thx for sharing...  :)

Of the 1672 produced Turbo's, there were 117 which were sent to Japan when new.  There were only more Turbo's in Germany, Italy and France from new, so you guys got a fair share.
Of the four that rocked up at your 02 drive, two of them appear to be imported later in life.  Bizarrely, all the Turbo's that went to Japan when new, had the Turbo flares blended in with the bodywork.  Two of the four have just that, while the other two have the rubber seals and rivets present like Turbo's for the rest of the world.

Andres,

Thanks for information.  I heard there are two more turbo owners in this group.  I did not expect so many 02 survived in japan in such a good condition before I moved from SF bay area. Anyway we will have one more touring by the end of this year and will share photos from Japan sometime soon.
