Hey Tom - where did you find that picture of Diana?  Is that the final one?

I have the pic of Diana posted here:

http://baurspotting.blogspot.com/2012/07/1974-bmw-2002-ti-diana-targa-like.html

I got it from my friend John E's excellent Classic and Vintage BMW:

More on Diana Korner:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0477981/?ref_=tt_cl_t8

She appears in Stanley Kubrick's BARRY LYNDON, among many others.

"Is that the final one?"

Not sure what you mean.... final pic of Diana K? No.

Is that a picture of the final 2002ti Diana?  I don't think so.  I think it is a pic of the FIRST one (Cappuccino), that Hubert Hahne presented to his wife, Diana.  The pic may have been taken at its introduction, but I can't say for sure yet.

Here is a post on that FIRST Diana as it appears today, restored (including some pics of the restoration):

http://baurspotting.blogspot.com/2013/04/bmw-diana-cappucino-by-hubert-hahne_22.html

My information, btw, is that the Dianas appearing at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 1:00 o'clock in the pic below are still in existence.  The 'Cappuccino' is at 11:00 in that pic.

There are a number of pics of the Dianas at 9 and 10 o'clock  in the baurspotting posts noted above.  The yellow Diana at 1 o'clock was racing in the Canary Islands until recently.  I have a bunch of pics of that one also, but I haven't posted them yet.

The conversions on the Dianas, btw, were done by Baur.   :)

I still prefer singles, to each his own I guess.

I agreed until I bought this - with a normal sized headlight on the outside (usually they have two smaller lights) and a smaller raised spot with a chrome ring I reckon these look good.

Here is some more info that I stumbled on regarding the 2002ti Diana found in the Canary Islands.

Apologies in advance.... a lot of it was clumsily translated from the original Spanish by Google Translate.... but the pics are worth it!

Still not my style, IMHO it looks more like a misplaced foglight rather than a headlight but again this is just my personal preference. Same thing with e21's I think 315, 316, and 318's (All came with single headlights) look much better than the 320i with the duals, I've had both and I gotta say Single headlight always wins in my book.
