value of a set of wheels...?

Those are factory alloy wheels. You can still get them new for around $250 each I believe. If they are original they might be worth more.

I am just asking in general...they aren't my wheels, yet. They would be included in a deal with some other items and I was curious how much I could get back from them.

Good condition means just that, they are clean and shiny, good paint, but used and certainly not perfect.

I just had no reference at all as a starting point, I couldn't find any for sale after a quick search...to know that a new set would run around $250 is a solid answer.

Thanks all.

For a short time about a year ago they were ~$140 each. I should have bought 20.

I would say a used original set (they should have a date stamp on the inside) without bends or cracks with nice lips might be worth $500 if they can be used as is. If they need truing and refinishing, forget it, it's cheaper to buy new.

Do the hubcaps come with the new wheels? If not, add in another $35-$40 per wheel. I have been told the new hubcaps come with the stick-on roundels, otherwise that's another $5 per wheel. Also, are you going to do 5 wheels (spare) as was the fashion when these were new?

A full new set of 5, with hubcaps & lug nuts would run around $1250+ tax/shipping.

Before you spend too much on these wheels used, price out the cost of repairs and recoating. I have my 5 wheels at the shop for straightening (2 of them had bends after 4o years, go figure), curb rash repairs, blasting, and powder coating. Add in the new hub caps and lug nuts and my cost is starting to close in on a set of new wheels.

I did notice this weekend that the new production wheels have the manufacturers logo cast into the face of the wheel. Doesn't look bad, but if you are going for "correct", the original wheels didn't have the logo. Either way, it won't matter at 55mph
