Check out my latest discovery rusty starter, rusty hoses, rusty everything besides the common rusted bodyparts. At least this stuff is easy to change!

Check out the fancy plastic tube by the starter.

This is a clear example of what water does to an engine.

Uhh, isn't that what a starter is supposed to look like?

Ur going to need a new radiator, fan and motor mounts.

That starter is a little bit rusty as you can see the block on that side too and leaves and stuff the car was abandoned for a while (10 years!). And its is also completely jammed last time I tried to start it well...it started smoking and almost lights up.

The fan I already got one here need to install it as surprising as it might seem the car had no overheating problems!

Thanks for the feedback on the mounts I haven't gotten into that yet!

No, our cars have always been in the Southern Arizona desert. My wife's '76 sat outside down here, undriven, for 15 yrs. before we got it and had sun damage, leaves, animal droppings, grass up inside the engine compartment - but no rust.

So, if I move to AZ (which I will be doing in 3 yrs) will the rust that is on my car reverse itself. Cause I gotta tell u, if I can avoid that tab for body work, I might move that date up ;)

What's there won't go away by itself, but you won't develope any new stuff.

Humidity down here 9-10 months of the year is down in the single digits nearly every day. Plays hell with the inside of your nose, though. Drink lots of water when you get down here. Where specifically are you thinking of moving to?

Let me know if you have any other questions.

That PVC tubing for your heater bypass?

John

Yeap but that wasn't me! Previous owner did it.

It was also the replacement for the tii metal tube since the car had a tii engine but I suppose that tube rustead out and the guy was cheap and just built that.
