Waiting for the roads to dry...

I'm hanging it up Raine. Too dang cold and they put salt on the roads from last week's snow to bring my cars out. Besides, my engine is blocking the tii in the garage. Both are still tied up to the Battery Tender feeding tube.

Well, I think we need a good solid rain to wash all the salt off first. It sure was tempting though. BTW, I lived 8 years in Montana and had never snow tires on my first white '76 2002. I must be getting soft ;-) -Raine

on the way from Leesburg to Purcellville. I thought the road looked wet in the travel lane, and discovered why! Moved over the the passing lane to keep the E28 a bit less salty.

I got the o-ring for the tii's pressure relief valve and some new fuel line. Now just need to find the time and have the temperature rise.

snow--roads are white with the stuff, and more on the way early next week.

I think our SW Ohio 2002s are hibernating for the duration unless we get a serious thaw and then some non-freezing rain.

Seriously, the snow along the roadsides here in Mpls./St. Paul is 5+ feet already and it's not even officially Winter for another 3 days!

For the 1st time in 28 yrs., the Vikings will be playing a Home game in an outdoor stadium Monday night (Univ. of MN Stadium). It'll be especially tough, given the Vikes performance to-date, to have no alcohol at the game.

The State of WV spreads cinders on their roads which are nothing more than ashes. According to my wife, sometimes they spread salt.

In my opinion, WV does a much better job of clearing their roads than VA. The residential streets are cleared much faster than ours here in NoVA.
