OIL COOLER SET UP QUESTION WITH STOCK OIL FILTER

I AM LOOKING TO ADD A EXTERNAL OIL COOLER TO MY ENGINE AND WANTED TO SEE IF ANY BODY HAD ANY DIAGRAM / PICTURES / SET-UP'S OF THEIR OWN OR ANY SUGGESTION FOR GETTING STARTED. MY ENGINE IS SET-UP WITH DUAL 40 DCOE'S, FORGED PISTONS, 11.0 TO 1 COMP RATIO, 306 CAM, SS HEADERS, ETC (SEE PHOTOS). I AM REALLY LOOKING FOR A BASIC OIL COOLER SET UP. I HAVE HEADER YOU CAN PLUM DIRECTLY INTO THE STOCK OIL FILTER HOUSING BUT I'M NOT 100% ABOUT THIS. ANY SUGGESTIONS / PICS / DIAGRAM WILL HELP. THANKS A LOT.

and therefore we will yell at you mercilessly to stop shouting...

but anyway...

yeah, any samwich will do the deal.

Attach cooler to sandwich, be overcooled 85% of the time.

I have (I think) a Canton one on the race car and it's nice and thin.

If you can find one with a thermostat inside (Volvos had them on their

turbo 240's) that's good, or use a cooler

(2nd gen RX-7's for example) that has one.

Then you're doing it right.

It's really pretty easy. Just be careful to route your hoses

in safe places, and give them room to wriggle.

Then you're REALLY

Get a sandwhich plate with integral thermostat.

(actually I have a used Mocal w/ oil cooler I might put up for sale).

Or get a used S14 oil filter head, which is the current best solution. It even has two ports for sensors (pressure and temps)...

Lee, would you sell the Mocal without the cooler? How much?

If it goes, it leaves as a complete kit meant to locate the cooler near the headlamp opening. Sandwhich/thermostat, aluminum Aeroquip fittings on braided lines, aluminum cooler.
