  1. Sorry, don't know. My memory is that it came from a euro '73 Baur that I restored in 1985, but said memory is old and faded.
  2. While searching for parts for our friend Lance I found that; 1.All left and right parts are interchangable except for mounting bracket, and grill filler used from '67-'72. 2.Mounting bracket difference is hard to see. See pic. 3.I have a mangled euro lamp. Does anyone need adjusters or rear cover?
  3. Steve K. Please make it easier to contribute.
  4. Yes, both easy bolt in and with the e3 mirror you don't get the excessive angle used on later cars with raked windshield.
  5. Sorry, I still don't know how to do contributions. Others have done so through the store, but I don't see the link. If you're interested, you find out how to contribute, I'll check stock for the parts.
  6. With sunroof is no problem, same as e3. $20.00, shipping included.
  7. Mercedes 110, 111, 108, 114, 115 will not work, same with e3 and sunroof '02. Please post if you find the answer.
  8. Yours for a contribution to the forum in the amount of your choice.
  9. Rear collision is bad as rust. Use it up and restore the straight one.
  10. Sunroof seals and door glass squeegees are water proof.
  11. Buy new trim after you have your own home with garage, car stops and goes well, and has new paint. I can help you get by til then.
  12. below the frame rails. To remove loosen nuts and pull forward until bolt heads are free of thier retaining slots. Using one hand pull the bolt heads tight against the bracket. Push bracket back and down with the other hand until the bolts are below the frame rail.
  13. Introduction; When I bought my ’74 it came with a brand new Alpine stereo with speakers in the doors. It also had a new windshield seal and lock strip, but an old, pitted, scratched glass. The space between the body and seal was completely filled with urethane sealer. Conclusion; P.O. bought a new sound system from someone who did not know what the vapor barrier was for. It wasn’t just loose, but missing. When the rains came, the floors flooded, and someone decided it must be the windshield. He could not afford the windshield so he had just the seal replaced. That didn’t work, so he had the goop squirted in. That didn’t work so he sold the car. Epilog; I bought from a used car lot, never met the P.O, but if you listen closely, the car can tell you stories. Always keep your vapor barriers water tight.
  14. Cotter pin puller makes it a snap. No muscle, no danger, no sweat.
  15. When mine failed the car lost pressure, but perhaps it could cause high pressure too? It's a very easy fix. Good luck.
  16. are what you see controlling everything in my truck, except for headlights. Also used '02 ignition relays for lights, horns, and aux fan.
  17. about this car, but DO buy real estate asap. I too have lived with bad valve seals. It was a real pita to go to and from Los Gatos. Some of these guys advising you live with it may be flatlanders. Decelling on the flat is nothing like a ten mile downhill. The best thing you can do for the car you love is to buy it a garage.
  18. on my truck bound for the dump. I'll cut it out, and send it to you for $35 plus shipping. Please let me know your plan so I can finish loading.
