  4. Howdy. I’m clearing out my last remaining square tail t-shirts out of the original run of 144. I sold these years ago at the Bay Area 02 Swap & Show. It’s a quality shirt, with 3 color silk screen on a white 100% pre-shrunk cotton Hanes Beefy-T. It’s been stored in a cool dark area of a smoke-free home. All I have left at this point are Smalls and XLs. Sorry, Roundie shirts are long gone. Feel free to email me if you're interested. Please don't leave orders/requests on this site. PayPal is my preferred method of payment. Please don't send any payment until we've reached an agreement. Shirts are $10.00 shipped in the 48 states. Thanks in advance. 5. I came across this 2002 article yesterday while cleaning up the garage. It's from the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, November 11, 2001. Bay Area 02 is featured prominently. Enjoy, and Happy Monday...
  6. This guy guys built a car around a V12 Patton Tank engine. Front end almost has a bit of a kidney feel, shades of a BMW 327. Scroll through photos: http://blastolene.com/The_Special/pages/01Tank.htm
  7. Armond, I'm glad that worked out. Bill Watson is in that rare group, knowledge-wise, occupied by the like of Rob Torres and Bill Williams. I did his logo and ads years ago in exchange for an engine rebuild in the Touring (which he ended up buying—smart man). A wealth of knowledge, an uber craftsman and a really nice guy...
  8. I had a 1972 for years. I'll dig around this morning for a photo to send you. The mirror is unique to the Targa if I remember correctly...
  9. I'll see you at Swap & Show with shirts in hand.
  10. Les, cool. Was it on the car when you bought it, or did you have it made? Yes, Bill, it's the wonderful Helen. She's quick to admit the benefits of 02 ownership, mainly that the same mindset that keeps you driving basically the same car for 32 years will probably keep the same wife around for at least 25...
  11. I stumbled across this photo over the weekend. My girlfriend (now wife) Helen and myself from 1985, packing it up and getting the hell out of Houston (on the way to Boston). On the shirt: I produced and sold that shirt in a small-space ad in the back of BMWCCA's Roundel magazine. A less-than-authorized use of the logo. Never got my 'cease and desist' letter, nor did I get rich selling them.
  12. Cuban-style, from Click & Clack. Enjoy, and have a stellar weekend. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/01/22/MT1Q1BLIDI.DTL&type=autos
