  1. FUD? FOMO? This really is straight out of the hedge fund playbook.
  2. I haven't Tom, I've just been using big scissors or a utility knife...
  3. If old boy doesn't take it, I would. I'll send you a PM as well.
  4. Murph Which part of the door seal did you cut? I've been trimming mine just below the windshield where it's vertical, but it still takes some intent to get the door closed...
  5. Dude. Maybe just like a short sale. Maybe he could get a job at Citadel.
  6. Hi Phil. Yep, the Sparcos. Don't know about the tan. I sold that pair, they were pretty twisted. But having fixed the one I'm using now (straightened and rewelded the frame), maybe I could have fixed that pair, too...
  7. @popovm@Dudeland Alright, got the driver's side in. Me; 5'11", 195, used to be pretty athletic, long torso. The seating position in my car has been seriously modified, to the extent that my pedals hang instead of pivoting on the floor, so my position in the car is not stock, at all. Sunroof car. I usually wear L or XL shirts, depending, but a loose fit. My car is set up rather sporty, and I drive it that way. The seats totally fit in the car, no problem, and fit appropriately. The base of the seat is narrow enough to get the seat on center with the steering wheel pretty easily. They look good. They are VERY similar in size to my Recaro LSC. The foam is very firm, which I really like. The seat, to me, is more comfortable than I expected. Their 'lumbar' adjuster is maybe 4" higher than it should be? But adjusting it does make the seat more comfortable. The Sparco slider is about an inch tall. This has my head really close to the roof. Like less than an inch away. *Just checked against my stockish passenger side- I have about 2-2.5" to the roof, so the chair is plus an inch or 2 from a stockish seat, wherever that puts you. I really need to get rid of my sunroof. I find the seat to be a little wide in the torso, which is surprising because very few seats are wide enough- so there's some room here. The seat isn't 'pinchy' at all, anywhere. So, I'd say if you're a L to XL guy, these will fit nicely. If you like being up in the car, again, I think these would be good. For me to keep them, at a minimum, I'd have to ditch the sliders and maybe remove the stock seat mounts on the chassis- which isn't the end of the world, but I don't know that I feel like doing that right now. On the whole, I think they're a nice seat, and they look nice. But I think I'm going to stick with my beat up Recaro for the time being. I'm going to go down and pull this back out. Lemme know if anyone is interested in the pair- the other seat is still in the box, unopened, and this chair has about 15 miles on it and is coming back out.
  8. Orange cats are my favorite. I'd suggest starting with those to keep me from unsubscribing...
  9. Dude. Look at you. They showed up 2 days ago! The wife is working Saturday, so I'm going to get them in the car then. Getting a full time job has been seriously cramping my style.? Text if you'd like quicker results... 970 to two too 9597
  10. Maybe at his own peril, but I bet even Marshall would respect a well driven Spec Miata. But since I didn't hear him say it I won't hold him to it. And I'm not that fast behind the wheel anyway. Ya' know Ed, they're really not bad. Pretty simple, very engaging. This one has a bunch of love that's needed, I'm sure it'll get much better. Not as fast as my car, but s14, carbon intake, haltech, COP, aluminum flywheel, suspension, brakes, tires, z4 steering rack, poly bushings... My car is pretty sorted. And this is brand new to me. I'll cut it a little slack. And it turns really quick. Really quick.
  11. Not just hardtop, fastback. And the trunk still works.
  12. Keeping my '02, don't get me wrong, but got this for just about what I paid for my snow blower (granted, it's a commercial snow blower, but still.) Maybe Slavs is right. Oh, and damned if they don't make a fastback hard top for this thing, and it looks freakin' cool.
  13. Dude. The f20/f22c is a great solution. If I didn't have what I have that's what I'd be looking into. That's awesome.
  14. I love the variety of the cars; looks like you guys had a great day. Thank you.
  15. Bud, this isn't off topic! This is totally on topic! Car looks great, especially actually getting used.
  16. And if it ran 6 months ago, it'll run now. Hell, if it is rust free and ran 6 months ago, I'll give you a couple hundred or a couple grand right now.

  19. What do you need for the the shifter and knob? It's from the 1.9? Is it possible for a picture? Addy is 80535 for shipping... It says you can't receive PMs.
  20. OMG. And the fuckers have their goddam 'Murican flag hung backwards. WTF? Aren't they in Texas? Jesus Christ himself should come down and smite them. Except that if JFC actually rolled in, they'd crucify him all over again for what he had to say. /rant. My fucking neck hurts. I need a new pillow.

  24. Christ. Did you see the control required for the gearbox? Without an engine ECU, maybe, but trying to get that gearbox to work without the proper control unit? Good luck. Bet it sounds good though.
