  1. so what your saying is to buy a rebuilt quick ratio ZF instead?
  2. I have my steering box apart since Im rebuilding the subframe and was wondering if its work doing IE's Quick Ratio kit and how hard it is to install or how much it would cost to get it installed. The other option is to buy a rebuilt factory ZF quick ratio kit online as they seems to around $1,100 to $1,200. Any feedback with experiences is appreciated.
  3. Still looking incase anyone knows of any.
  4. I agree these are too large for my tastes. I still need to look and see if you can even do centerlocks on a 13" or 15" wheel.
  5. Yeah I saw these two with E50s and was wondering how easy it is to do the conversion as I’m doing new hubs anyway
  6. lol. It’s down in Southern CA right now. Unfortunately not a lot of quality shops up here.
  7. Paul started making her a little wider today
  8. Sorry to bump and old thread but has anyone installed centerlock hubs with BBS on their 02? Can the E30 centerlock hub be used? Anyone know a company that can make these custom?
  9. Nice work! I wish I could do my own like that.
  10. Thanks! Its been a built I have been planning for about 10 years (although there have been some big changes in the direction due to different parts availability) so its nice to finally move forward with a build.
  11. Are these direct mounts for adding Recaros to a 2002?
  12. Really cool. I bet it moves. My Tesla model Y hauls ass so I can't imagine one of the tesla motors in such a light car.
  13. We did the MVP one in my car. The installer didn’t have anything bad to say about it.
  14. Sorry to bump and old thread but did anyone have recommendations on who to have install the kit???
  15. So did some digging and found out some details. This car is owned Nicolas and Christian Traber of Graber Sportgarage AG in Switzerland. The car runs 13x9" Minilite wheels front and rear with 215/55 R13 road set up and 230/550 R13 slicks for track use. He didn't remember the offsets and I didn't want to keep bothering him, but maybe Minilite knows. Im amazed that 9" fits front and rear. But not sure if those are your average pig cheeks. This car is a CA owned car. He is running Compomotive ML1381 in 13x8 ET -12
  16. the photos I posted above were just found online. I did some digging for the owners and the green and white car is from Europe somewhere and the white car is from California (maybe someone on here knows the owner).
  17. I’m pretty sure the wheels posted are minilites so I emailed the US site and sent them this thread to see if they can confthe size but I’m guessing -10 like jmr said.
  18. Thanks, I was thinking these were definitely a negative offset. Any suggestions on where you can get a set?
  19. thanks for the photo. The standard rebuild looks pretty simple but I’m looking to do the quick ratio conversion which involves some welding according to IE.
  20. Yeah they almost look bigger then 8” widths but not sure that’s possible up front even with the Alpina flares. If Anyone has any idea of the offsets on the top ones please let me know.
  21. Anyone have info on these wheels? Look like minilites but quite a bit wider then the others I have seen. fitment seems to be the same as these
  22. Currently redoing my front subframe, can anyone recommend who to send the steering pump out to for a complete rebuild? Was planning on doing the IE quick ratio rebuild kit but they said some welding is involved and can’t do it with basic garage tools.
  23. I need to chat with Paul about those hood pins and possibly the hood brackets as well.
  24. Oh very cool! Should be down that way very soon. Just working out the details with the transportation guy.
