  1. Theres 24 lbs of savings in the hood alone not including extra saving if you remove the main latch and go with hood pins. Also the rear fenders involves cutting a large % of the rear quarters off. Paul’s car is under 2,000 lbs with a S14
  2. Amazing. Our cars are on very similar paths. Can’t wait to see more. Who’s doing your M10 stroker build? I was considering going that direction with ITBs and FI.
  3. Bart is an artist when it comes to the metal work. Nice thing about sending the vehicle to him is that he just does restorations and isn't a collision place. My goal is to get the entire chassis completed (body, subframes, brakes, suspension, wheels & tires) within one year, and then year two complete the interior and drivetrain.

Link for the video dosen't seem to be working
  5. After the dipping was completed at Metal Works in Oregon, the car got transported down to Bart Ziegenhagen at the Resto Shop in San Martin, CA where the goal was to do the rust restoration and some minor body modifications (fill holes for rear side marker lights and rear reflectors). The dipping revealed more issues than initially expected (If you didn't see the dipping post you can see it HERE): As bad as this looks Bart was able to work his magic on these spots without issues: We ended up doing new floor pans which you can see here: As well as the trunk floor replacement I picked up from IE: About 80 hours later and here are the end results: And then the whole thing got epoxy primered in black: Next step is back on the frame roller and it gets loaded up this week to head down to Costa Mesa to Paul @ SonOf Cobra where the big body modifications start.
  6. Bart at The Resto Shop finished the metal work and she got primed.
  7. Just a bump incase there are new eyes in the wanted forum.
  8. Nice dude. Can’t wait to see this project play out. Mines heading to Paul next month so long as the rust restoration stays on schedule.
  9. Yeah I absolutely love how it sounds. And seems very well sorted.
  10. Anyone have info on the car? Comments are saying S14.
  11. Hi Guys, Looking for a set of 13" faces only or complete BBS E76 wheels with high pad faces (to clear larger brakes). Im ok if they need reconditioning as I will most likely rebuild them anyway to my specific offsets.
  12. I didn’t do anything per se. But Bart at The Resto Shop sent me some pics on the rust repair ??
  13. Thanks Andrew. Just what I wanted to hear.
  14. A fender roller will fix this issue. But like Toby said if your gap is changing with each drive something is worn out or loose and you should probably find what that is.
  15. Yeah Im super excited to seem them when they come back. I'll be sure to post up pics and a review.
  16. Thanks for the info, but was curious on on the Wilwood calipers. You don't happen to know if they work with those do you?
  17. Ok cool. Thats what I thought. That there were at least 2 pad heights. I'll keep that in mind when looking.
  18. E30 you can still order though BBS Motorsports but I would prefer E76 if I could find some but just want to make sure they will clear the BBK before wasting my time hunting down a pair. Also, curious if there are different pad heights on these as well. I’m pretty sure the E30 has different ones but not sure on the E76.
  19. Is anyone running 13” or even 15” (13” faces with step lips) versions of the BBS E30 or E76 with IE’s 13” big brake kit?
  20. Disassembled the front struts so they could be shipped out to KW for coilover conversion.
  21. My 70 has two. One was bent and had to be corrected when redoing my subframe.
  22. This was the first non Turbo I saw sell for over $100k on BAT and this just sold in Dec 1972 BMW 2002tii 2.2L 5-Speed BRINGATRAILER.COM Bid for the chance to own a 1972 BMW 2002tii 2.2L 5-Speed at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and... while not a square tail I was still shocked to see the price.
