    You can definitely drive in for the day Saturday morning. We've had a few Houston 02rs do it in years past. Leave early enough to get to the Hanger Diner for breakfast Saturday morning. That's the meeting place and start of Saturday's hill country drive. Terry and Debbie put together a good drive that will have us zipping around the area with a few scenic stops and lunch break. More driving after lunch that usually wraps up around 3pm-4pm if I recall correctly. Not uncommon to have a few head out after lunch. Terry should be putting out an email soon for the 02berfest. I'll post something on here and the main board when he does. Our next Austin area BMW 2002 and Vintage BMW Cars and Coffee is Saturday morning, September 15th at 8am. We meet at Mozart's Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin Blvd. We actually use the Hula Hut parking lot since they aren't open in the mornings.     Just bought a water choke 32/36 from Pierce Manafolds last week for my 76. Called them up and explained what I was looking for and received it quickly.

    Turning wrenches the last two days with good friends Barney and Ed. Barney's stripping down a 73 getting it prepped for paint, new Weber 32\36 & tune-up on my 76 and much progress on Ed's 67 2000cs Coupe.

    We have our Austin monthly ATX C&C on the 3rd Saturday morning of each month. September's will be on 9/15.

    Our August Austin area BMW 2002 and Vintage BMW Cars and Coffee is Saturday 8/18. We meet at Mozarts Coffee on Lake Austin Blvd at 8am. We actually use the Hula Hut parking lot since they aren't open at that time. We are typically there until 9:30 and then a group of us head over and grab a bite down the street at Maudie's Tex-Mex.     A few pics from this morning's Austin BMW 2002 and Vintage BMW C&C. Didn't take as many pics as I normally do... (Social butterfly ?) Including a couple pics of a sweet 1968 Porsche 912. Its an electric done by Moment Motor Company. MMC will soon be converting a 2002 roundie to electric. Will be fun to watch this project!
