  1. Is anybody from the Sacramento area driving out to the Brisbane meet this Saturday? If so, I'd be in for a convoy. I'll be driving my car out for the day.
  2. My recently finished BBS RS047's. Such a fun rebuild.
  3. Thanks. Ya the grills are brand new from the dealership. I can't believe that they're still available. They're like jewelry.
  4. Just posted this on my BBS thread but felt it was too good not to post here as well
  5. Nothing like an 80deg Sunday in March. Gotta love California.
  6. Couple images from this past weekend's Euro Sunday (Cars and Coffee) in Sacramento. People were drooling over the new rims.
  7. Thanks. It's definitely going to be a task to keep em shiny...
  8. Well, I've been looking to rebuild a set of RS's for about a year now and finally a little more than a month ago a stumbled across a set on craigslist...IN TOWN. I thought it was too good to be true but sure enough, they were legit. Went through the full disassembly, mirror polish, powdercoat and reassembly and I think that they turned out like jewelry. I've heard before that RS001 (ET25) were the ideal offset but these were RS047 (15x7, 4x100, ET38). I had a set of replica RS's (terrible looking) to hold me over until I found these and they were ET35 and fit pretty good with small spacers. Anyways, here are a couple pics of the build. Got tires mounted to them last night and everything fit PERFECT. Probably drank 3 brews just staring at them in the garage after I got everything mounted up last night. Probably one of the most rewarding builds I've done in a while. I'll have some more pics of the mounted this weekend.
  9. Re-posted for $300 buy it now. Not really sure what it is worth so any reasonable offer will most likely be accepted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171563427433?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/171551619828?item=171551619828&viewitem=&vxp=mtr
  11. Messing around with the VSCO app last night.
  12. Thanks. I'm running 185/55R15 Toyo Proxes T1R. 185 is typically a little narrow for a 7" wheel but it fits nicely with my drop. 195 would have been right on the edge without additional body mods. The width difference between the 195/50-15 and 185/55-15 was only like .3" And they were only 260 for a whole set from tirerack.
  13. Thanks. With regards to spacers I'm running a 10mm in the rear (only to clear the wilwood caliper. If I was running drums in the rear, I don't think I would have needed a spacer) and in the front i have an 8mm. Front suspension is the full Ireland shortened adjustable coilover set-up and lowered almost as much as i can go (its actually slightly lower now than in these pics). The rear is Ireland stage 2 springs with billy sports, and the one spring pad removed. All in all, I think it is dropped about 4" from stock but that is just estimating. Cheers.
  14. I have those Avid AV-05 RS Gold 15x7 et35 replicas and I love em. They're holding me over while I find all of the pieces to build a real set of RS's. and, they were $400 shipped to my door. Hard to beat for the money.
  15. I'm running Hella Rallye 4000 Metal Lamps. They have Clear lenses but you can get the yellow/amber stick on covers. (they have other colors as well I believe).
  16. Just spent roughly $8500 for materials and labor. A few small rust repair spots, lots of metal work to ensure minimal bondo. It is amazingly beautiful. Probably straighter than when it left the factory. It was a little more than I had initially planned on spending but now that it is complete, its worth every penny. Every where I go the car turns heads.
  17. I like everything about that black car except for the Toyota motor...
  18. Are you thinking "backside" like the as-mounted-condition to see strut clearance or the wheel removed from the car to see the inside of the wheels? I'm going to re-bleed the front brakes this weekend and could snap a few pics if you'd like.
  19. I'm running their AV-05 15x7 et35 which I scored a set brand new on ebay for $400. For the price, I dont think they can be beat. These should hold me over while I save up for a big boy set of RS's
  20. Couple shots I took of my car from this weekend's BayArea 02 Show. Great event.
  21. Those decks are awesome!! If you can, set one of the Alpina PigCheek deck's aside for me and I'll pick it up from you this Saturday. -Nick
  22. They are 15X7, et35 with a 10mm spacer. The pads look to be fully seated from what I can see.
