  1. Paneled like my childhood rec room
  2. +1 (!). What kind of shape were the original seats? I'm still looking for an early D.S. seat base for my '69. Hi Jim, My car was purchased as a shell so I don't have any original seats or brackets. I do have a 73 parts car if that helps?
  3. I raced from the mid eighties to about 2005. Now I just tool around trying to look cool. Updates to come soon. Cheers Kris
  4. So what did you use since you didn't have the car and subframe for leverage? I got one of these for just such jobs http://www.milwaukeetool.com/tools/cordless-tools/drilling-and-fastening/impact-wrenches/m18-cordless-lithium-ion-3-4-inch-high-torque-impact-wrench-w-friction-ring-bare-tool/2664-20

  7. Great weather, fantastic show organized by Ted and his tireless crew of volunteers. Even a sighting of Blunt!
  8. If the rears are upside down, are the fronts Alpina? We took a ti apart, and I don't remember upside down rears. Good luck with the continuing project
  9. It goes under intake runner number 4. If you want to be really "correct" you can also put on one of the wire clips discussed in this thread http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,283050/highlight,tii+fuel+clip/
  10. Looks like it could be the fuel return hose bracket...holds the fuel hose from the kfish to the firewall. Keith Kreeger's site is your friend when reassembling a tii http://www.my2002tii.com/spring_2005/engine.htm http://www.my2002tii.com/spring_2005/tiihoses.htm

  13. Get one of these brackets and mount the fuel filter properly. It's not in a great spot right now http://2002haus.com/store/products/tii-fuel-filter-bracket
  14. Nice car, great price. Enjoy.
  15. IE Stainless, early version with 2 resonators. A bitch to set up so it didn't clank but no worries since then. I'm thinking of cutting out one resonator to get a bit more sound, but it's a nice balance of sound with no drone on the highway. M2 stuff to follow...engine is done, and so is the roll cage and suspension.
  16. Thanks! As to the colors offered, I'm interested in 72-73 only. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/content/view/32/32/

  18. Not possible because your tq wrench doesn't go that high or you can't apply it? If it's the latter use a cheater bar.
  19. Wet, dry, doesn't matter...that car looks great!
  20. Sold! Went to a good home, another board member here. And c.d., I got #41 35 5 490 000 too, the pair for $400., so I think I did okay. Didn't even quibble on his asking price. Der Original Canadian 1 owner car "Rusty" has joined my flock. He will be transplanting some parts to the M2 and who knows what else. Much thanks to Tony and cheers to the orig owner Paul. Bought it in 73 for $4900 and drove it till 85
