  1. Good to see you back...here is a good primer on front subframe reinforcement http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,369055/highlight,subframe+reinforcement/
  2. I have looked at 2 in the past 3 years in the Toronto area. Total basket cases. They do/did show up in Canada as it was easy for overseas military to bring them home
  3. Agreed, that's a lot of everything for the $, even if it is about as far from factory as you can get.
  4. Not mine no affiliation...and here I thought an S14 swap was a big deal. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/automobiles-sale/302604-1975-bmw-2002-drag-car-prostreet-car-sale-trade.html
  5. Agreed. This has dragged on enough without a price. My apologies, is there a time limit? I'm happy to take the listing down and re-post at a later date. The car isn't ready yet. I just had an appraiser by yesterday. The car hasn't been driven much, so it's been driven, inspected, driven, inspected. I'm not playing games ... I have 4 kids, work, i'm on the road a lot. Car is just not that important. Let me know if I should take the post down. Kim Kim Don't take it down but do tell people when you are going to price it. Or if you are taking offers. And if this is not imminent, lots of people would like to hear about this car, but the General section would be better than Cars for Sale. Thanks Kris
  6. For s14 swappers, here is a brand new uncatted S14 header. BMW part number is 11621308805. Cost $950, will sell for $850 shipped to Canada or mainland US. Email me through the board
  7. Wow that's a ton of unique ideas in one build. We need to see pics. If you can do all that work, posting pics will be a breeze
  8. Not into the nose, no. But close. I have the pre bent hard lines from classic tubes but those are out based on the positioning. Resevoir, right in that area, could be on the master, yes. Volvo 850 Turbo (Orange Tops) - Bosch p/n: 0 280 150 785 high impedence 305cc/min. @ 3BAR fuel pressure Evo III injectors are bosch's part # is 0-280-150-355 300.6cc/min, 43.5psi 3 bar Marshall - thanks I bought the strut bar 2nd hand. It came with a nifty set of machined spacer to add a bit of height to clear the intake. I will take some pics of the engine mounts Tommy - thanks for the comments. I will look at what can be done to mitigate any side play.
  9. I'm going to sell it. Usic is designing and building a sequential header that will squeeze into the space. Strut brace was from a FAQer. I'm looking fwd to noise too. Waiting for AN hose and fittings for the oil cooler and remote oil filter etc etc. Still aiming for the Vintage this year!
  10. Agreed. This has dragged on enough without a price.
  11. Some updates on the build Tii booster has been relocated which fully solves any issues with the carbon air box fitment. The engine is home and in place on custom mounts. It is lower and further back than the "stock" position. The header will need to be custom, so I have a new E30 M3 header as a paperweight.
  12. Can you feel th difference on turn-in?
  13. Looks great Marshall. Must feel nice to be done with the big bumpers. Maybe you can harness the cold air coming through the extra bumper bracket space and send it somewhere
  14. Buyer changed his priority to another resto project so this is back up for sale
  15. It's a bit of a mixed bag. I wouldn't buy it without inspecting in person and having it checked out. Potential issues - gas tank is painted, likely left in the trunk during the respray, a sign of potential shoddy work. -rear cv joints look tired, so does the rear suspension -tii air box missing - rear tail panel trim deleted, how good is the body work, bondo? - engine bay, looks like a quick and dirty spray bomb of the tii intake and valve cover, and the rest looks dirty and tired, such as the kfish lines - strut tops dry and cracked -fuel filter not clipped in place -instrument cluster not properly installed - front suspension looks unrestored - cant tell, but maybe some corrosion on the rear control arms -honestly looks like a quick and thin layer of paint on the bottom and in the wells ...proper prep? And what is it hiding? -fuel pump is not a tii pump so wiring would have been spliced
