    Came out of a 140,000km engine which saw regular maintenance...left over from my M2 project. Pistons : they are in good shape, There is a bit of wear on the sides of the pistons. Lots of carbon build up on the tops, however they can be cleaned. Crank: excellent shape, hardly any indications of wear on the bearing surfaces. Block: Excellent shape, hasn't seen that much salt on the exterior and cross hatching still visable on the cylinder walls. No con rods. $sold plus actual shipping Email me through the board

    Very cool project. Check out the builds as there are a number of us who have restored tii's. please consider keeping the factory air box, it does a good job and looks the part

    Here are a few pics of some recent work on the car Very beginning of wiring, plus a mock up of Lee's nifty dead pedal Half Alpina tribute cage buttoned up. POR 15 and then matte black sprayed on top. Rear seats will be deleted. New jack point under the front mounts for the cage. Didn't go with the side mount on the seat belt boss like the real Alpina 1/2 cages A little more work required for the final fit of the E21 323i dogleg Test fit for engine placement with old short block, old rad. Engine mounts will be Massive from Lee Vuong New OEM header buttoned up via a Turner kit Goal is to have the real motor in the car in about a week. I suppose this thing will start in the middle of the winter sometime, and then I will stare at it until the spring.

    Picked up a "new" 3 piece dash from BMW through Blunt. For some reason about a month ago, 3 piece dashes showed up as available, well at least a few anyway. Blunt was able to grab one right away. Quality seems really good, not sure where they went with the textured material, but good looking nonetheless. Shown mocked up with early switches I picked up from a faq member. Gauge surround is made of plastic covered with vinyl and the reast of the dash has a white backing, almost like closed cell foam. Who knows who makes these for BMW and why they were available...

    Left over from my 02 project. Previous owner did some work on the dash filling cracks. Decent job but not concours quality. A few minor cracks as in the pics and some uneven finishing and masking. $sold plus actual shipping from Toronto

    Uh - when was that?? Didn't know they were still available new - thought only the one-piece ones were. About a month ago. There were a few available I recall. It's the type with the chrome trim pieces.
