  1. Ok me too. I would like one as well. What are the odds?
  2. $600 NOS including a cracked lense. They show an upclose picture of the crack on the site. With a crack that seems a bit high. I got my amber euro set 7 years ago for like $150 bucks. So with inflation & considering the product, if they were perfect the price is close.
  3. My opinion, definitely not an improvement either in looks or performance so...
  4. Awsome thanks for the reply when you posted these a week or two back. As I replied on the original post and emailed you. Thanks again.
  5. For a car that realy needs a few $1000 more in finishing touches I would say that was a good price to get. I have close to $20,000 in mine and ther is no way I would get 10 for it. New engine new suspension lots of upgrades ....but, needs seats, dash, bumpers, carpet, .......still the car otherwise looks very nice, great engine bay & trunk. Good luck
  6. In Orlando interested in tail lights & maybe the windshield.
  7. I think I am on General Altamax 195 60 r14's I love em and no tire rub on lowered car.
  8. Not exactly what I was implying but if you want to be that way then yes! I expect it to be cheap second rate shit made to be sold and forgotten by the builder. I don't expect PhD's but I expect someone at least familiar with the end users needs. Go ahead buy it and let us know I'd love to see a US made aluminum radiator at a reasonable price. The only ones I ever saw were the Nameless Perf. ones, and it appears they must have found out it's cost prohibitive, as they no longer sell it. Korman makes a nice US aluminum radiator, but they charge accordingly ($500). With proper quality control a part can be made in China and not be complete crap (not worth opening that can of worms). Maybe these were radiators that were declined (possibly due to reasons I stated) by their intended purchaser? All true and I agree, my issue is with a product made 3000 miles away by someone who knows nothing about the end user. I assure you there are no BMW 2002's anywhere near the factory . As stated China makes many fine products. Most with cheep labor and unfair trade practices as well as little or no environmental and worker rights. But hey a good value to us. Oh and don't forget the R& D they "borrow" Can I interest you in some drywall or baby formula?

  10. Very funny!!!! It's in China, the world's hub of after-market german car parts.
  11. My car had a tube step header when I got it and a muffler in need of replacement, so I got an ansa resonator, & muffler from Bravauto. That was back in 2004. The flange on the resonator cracked and they sent a new one no prob. Still on & I still love it! I love the way it sounds and yeah the radio is not much good at highway speeds but I don't drive that much on em. The car is a sports car to me, not a minivan. So to each his own. Plus I like the classic twin tip of the ANSA.
  12. I will try to attend as well. Hope to see some other 2002's!
  13. Hope you & yours (including your 2002) had a safe happy year & into the future.
  14. Battery in trunk, & the terminal is on now the firewall where the washer bottle was mounted (on 74-76) over the brake boster. So moved the washer & had a vent can so...
  15. I got lucky & found a rust free running 75 with some work done for $3500 8 years & $15,000 ago. New engine, front & rear overhauled sub frame & suspension, lots of other stuff but not restored! So I average around $2,000 a year for a "hobby".
  16. I sanded the raised parts in stages to 2000 grit on a sanding block then used polish and a dremell buffer to get high shine. I taped with blue painters masking and cut with a SHARP X-acto knife. I used some nice paint I got at a motorcycle shop. I also set the cleaned cover in the hot Florida summer sun for an hour prior to painting to get it up to like 150 then used a heat lamp & hair dryer after to set the paint. Use a thick coat like the directions state.
  17. just under the car for a regular look around & found the linkage from the sway bars (IE front & rear) was lose & the urethane bushings where hanging with about 1/2 inch slack. I tightened 3 lose corners & checked again for normal fit. They are all snug now but I don't know how much to tighten them to avoid damaging the bushings. Anyone else have this happen? IE sway bars B&G lowering springs, Bilstein sports, all urethane bushings. TIA
  18. I like the view from the toilet in the second picture!!! Is that a local custom?
  19. Man I love it down here in the winter.
  20. http://photoblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/05/9214237-gone-in-less-than-60-seconds-11-luxury-sports-cars-wrecked-in-expensive-pileup
  21. If it is real its valuable! I was at my wrench's shop the other day and a customer had one for the mechanic to install. It was a copy and the casting was VERY rough. Someone had even tried to grind it to look good but seems to have given up. Seems like a lot of money for that part if it is a knock off.
  22. Thats an understatement! If that is the car as represented than the engine is worth more than $15,000
