if you want to upgrade your lights get some good quality lights with a good cut off and throw an HID kit in them. cris sells a really nice affordable hi/lo kit and its the best thing ive done to my car as far as lighting. its every bit as good as my wifes 540 with xenons. those blue halo things are pretty brutal but we all like something different

I knew these were crap but I needed another opinion...(Ya never know)

I have no Idea what a good $ is for a headlight kit... I will look into it...

They're not HID. They're just H4 bulbs. HID require a ballast to ignite the bulbs. It's false advertising.

Besides, if you went barreling down the road with a blue ring around your headlights as shown (probably shopped to emphasize) in that picture, the police would pull you over on sight.

George,

I got this exact kit through CJ. So, again... have a look when you come around!

Misleading at best. Certainly not an HID, unless you allow for other definitions of "HID" maybe How Incredibly Dumb" to try this kind of ad!

I'm not recommending these folks, but it's a nice definition of the lamps; halogen, xenon additive, HID etc.

I'm glad u didn't buy it.

There are real conversion kits, but I've not seen any that meet manufacturer's standards unless it's a legit brand name full OEM upgrade e.g. Bosch.

I actually bought the kit a month or so ago. They are not terribly brighter than stock bulbs. The ring is kind of silly, its blue not white... like real halo's.

Plus you cannot see the ring when the lights are on. I disconnected mine and i may set them up to work as a directional also.

I think they are a mild improvement over stock, i mostly got them because i needed to replace mine and the price was right. The blue/white bulbs do give it a more modern look. My car is already off the scale so that wasnt a concern of mine.
