Ray,

You know you're right.  Didn't notice this.  May have occurred when I had my struts rebuilt.  Shop may have lost one and replaced with an acorn.

Damn, now I'll have to replace them all.

Best,

Glen

Those meanies! :D

Make sure the taper is correct for the steelies.

The project car came to me with the wrong lug nut taper on the rear alloys. They will back off within 100 miles.

(And the shop (I think) lost one of my really nice valve stem caps on the E24. Grr...)

Cheers,

Ray

oh how nice is that!

Thanks SydneyTii.  Bought the Tii new in '74.  Took my Mercury Capri into Mercury dealer for service.  They had just become authorized dealer for BMW.  While waiting on Capri test drove the Tii.  Bought it right then.  Painted in 89 and garaged most of its life.  DD up until 89.

Best,

Glen

It's amazing how different they look when you slam them.  The pic at the storage place really shows the difference.

For reference, how wide are those wheels and whats the offset?

75 2002

currently sitting on 15x8 +25 with spacers and 195/50/15 tyres

billy sports, h&r springs and rpm adjustable top mounts up front.

i have a new set of wheels 15x8 +17 and i want to put 205/50/15 r888 on as im not a fan of the stretch look.

i know theres not really a clear answer but is rolling the gaurds enough to fit 205's under?

or is more modification required? looking at getting the gc adjustable spring kit front and back soon.

cheers

What size of spacers did you use? I would love to see more pics of your setup, on your car.
