Hello gentlemen, just a few more pics to share. The paint is complete (2 stage Glasurit), new headliner installed and the car is now back home in the garage. The assembly has begun.

I am very pleased with the paint, the color, and overall work the shop did. Small, non-sophisticated shop, but great work. I would recommend. in the Los Angeles area.

Can't tell from the pics, but door mechanisms are in, trunk latch and assembly, new headlight buckets, and other misc. items. I cant wait til the belt and knee trim is on.

Now if I could just make up my mind on wheels. Considerations in order are:

1) 14" Superlites

2) 15" Panasports

3) 15" Rota RBs

4) New 15" Alpina Knockoffs - if they will fit.

As always, thanks for allowing me to share.

good looking project. As far as the rims. I like the Panasports but the Rotas look cool as well and they cost way less and are slightly lighter. Good luck

Looks great!!!! Some chrome will be great too!!

Can you plug the small shop that did the work? And approximately what was the cost? I live a bit north of LA.

Thanks,

Chrome is coming soon. One step a time.

Sure no problem. Just keep in mind the shop is not in the best part of town, not very sophisticated, etc., etc., but as you can see the work it quality. They did some rust repair in the front lower valance, replaced the spare wheel well (I supplied all new body parts), the two front fenders. Doors, trunk, and hood painted separately.

as far as wheels go, seeing as you have original blue plates and steering wheel, try repainting the steelies you have and leave the hubcaps OFF. it's a great look that has grown on me after failing to reinstall my hubcaps on my refurbished steelies.

i consider it the alternative to Borani steelie look.

What was the cost? I in the not too distant future would like mine repainted.

My vote is for 14" Panasports or Minilites. I think the 15" look too bling-bling. Of course there are always 13" factory mags, now available again, but that's just my opinion, and I am the original purist!
