  5. Looks like cat hair pads. LOL! I doubt it, cat hair pads were special order and have been NLA for quite awhile! Maximillian may still have a set as NOS, call them and ask ....
  6. Chris, one more question. The shape of your seats look perfect, not flat, not over stuffed. Did you replace the horse hair pads, or what stuffing did you use? Thanks for the info. Ross
  7. Absolutely beautiful Chris, just like the coupe ! I too would be interested in knowing how you re-used good donor tobacco vinyl? I'd like to do the same to my Blaupunkt. More Pics? Thanks for sharing.

  11. I'm ok with it unless you guys want to grab a quick bite with the coffee, there is always the locally famous "Lucky Boy" near California & Arroyo, just a little further west. I am in for either.
  12. Thanks for posting, yes would love a large size copy of the PDF and Illustrator versions if possible. rjmaza AT charter DOT net thanks!!
  13. Hassan, Thank you. Yes, will email you soon and then we can talk. I am in the Pasadena area, about 10 miles east of downtown LA and you?
  14. Depending on what you are looking for I may be able to suggest someone. If price is no object, there are way better options. I had an old school independent guy do my car, after searching for months for the right shop. It seems most shops did not want to bother with an older car, and some of the options they gave were scary. The links below with give you an idea of what was done to my car. If interested PM me and I can tell you all about it. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,331481/highlight, http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/p,663683/highlight,/#663683 Ross [/url][/u]

  17. Steve, did you end up finding a place. I am having the same dilemma, everything including Salinas seems to be sold out! I'd also prefer a place with covered parking but will take anything. Hope to see you out there.
  18. I will take them if they are still available. I am in Southern California. rjmaza@charter.net Thanks
  19. I will take them if they are still available. I am in Southern California. rjmaza@charter.net Thanks
  20. I agree with John, Perez is reasonable and does great work. $600 sounds more like a full re-do of the fronts and rears. Maybe he did not understand, you should check again. I paid him $650 for a complete recover. PM me, I might have another option for you. Ross
  21. Yes, a guy like this deserves it. If you look at the link that I posted above people have even found his home address out in Sylmar. He also textd me earlier in the week asking if I was still going to send a deposit.
  22. Too funny. I went through this exact thing on Sunday morning and almost ran late to a Father's Day BBQ. Even though I said I would come right out with the $$ he insisted I wire $$ first to hold the car. He even said he was insulted that I was questioning the validity of the AD. He said he was a probation officer in Pasadena and that he was a Christian and would never think about scamming anyone. I am a Real Estate Broker and found the same info on the house, called the Pasadena probation department and he was unknown, total scam!! Amazing that some people have no fear of God.
