Romantic Anniv.Gift = 5-speed transmission!

Recommended Posts

If your wife ever needs thoughtful tips for a romantic gift, just let her know what your car needs. It could be brakes shoes, a lightened flywheel, alloy wheels, etc. It'll top off that romantic dinner, roses, sentimental cards, B&B getaway, etc. So, I want to thank my wife, Mary, for the 5-speed trans. she has agreed to help me procure for my car. Nothing could be more romantic than car parts, right?? XX-OO-XXX-OOO!!

Congrats Jim! I have recieved various car parts for gifts. Better than a tie.

BTW Stoolpusher, Jim is a long time respected member of the forum. Sell your POS car to someone who knows/cares wtf they are doing and leave. Go troll a beastieality site. I'm sure you will get more respect there. :o)

Your wife is a saint, Steve!

I've tried to get some parts as gifts from mine with not much luck....

Can we do an FAQ group buy on Squarepusher's car?

Failing that, I think CA will buy it for a grand in their "get old cars off the road" program!.

Cheers,

Ray

my GF bought me a set of craftsman socket wrenches--SAE 'cause Sears didn't sell metric wrenches in 1963. I married her in 1965, and she's still giving me tools. Picture this: she walks into an auto body supply shop in her business suit and asks to see "something in a nice random orbital air sander." She's definitely a keeper (40.5 years of married bliss...well, mostly bliss)
