She's Alive but leaking oil

@bergie33the surface is smooth with no residue from the previous filters. Regarding your comment on the pressure not being high enough to blow oil out, now I'm really stumped as to what the problem is. There isnt a large supply of Tii oil filter housings on the market.

Can you slide a piece of paper between the oil filter housing and the oil pan?  Then, whichever side of the paper has the oil on it is where is leaking from.

Is your oil return from the k-fish pump hooked up and intact.

And are all the oil filters you are trying the same brand and age?  Are you pulling the rubber seal off the filter and oiling it before installation?

All is well thanks for all of the suggestions. I used a honing stone to resurface the oil filter housing face and put on a new oil filter with oil on the gasket and no more leaks. I never would have thought that surface had to be that perfect. We learn something new everyday.

Glad that it was an easy fix compared to taking off the oil pump.

Thanks again guys. I have to refurbish the warm up regulator with the kit from 2002faq and that should be it for the Tii. Then on to body work and paint.
