What to do with grooved crank shaft at rear main seal?

Building my motor and my crankshaft has a pretty deep groove at the rear main seal.  I saw that a shim was available to get the new seal to ride on a virgin area of the crankshaft but is now NLA (part 11141252897)   Anyone have any advice on how to tackle this since the shim is no longer available?  Would hate to get this thing all buttoned up and it leak at the rear main seal.

Is there room to install a second seal on top of the original?  I cured a similar problem on my Renault's engine by doing that.   Otherwise, I'm sure a machine shop could easily make a spacer for you out of either steel  or aluminum.

set the seal a bit less farther in.

+1 just don't push the seal so deep into the housing..

Otherwise, can you get a speedi-sleeve that size?
