15x8 rims fit 1975 2002?

Hi forum - first time poster. Thanks in advance for your help. 
 

I am look at some old school enkei rims for my son’s BMW 2002. They are 15x8 et 25 4x100. Anyone know if they will for without modifications?

With large spacers and large flares.

Ah, what's a few centimeters?

 

The rims themselves may fit with a bit of spacer.

 

But any sort of tire will then hit the fenders.

 

Unless you add a bit of flare, too.  Turbo flares would be about right for an 8ish rim with 8.5- 9" of tyre.

If fitted...hope your son (or any driver for that matter) has very strong arms, and you keep the OEM "schoolbus" steering wheel.  Tires wide enough to fit properly on an 8" rim are gonna make that manual steering really difficult in tight maneuvering.  Good way to develop upper body strength, though.
