What does the arrow in the bottom right, and the two asterisks in the top left indicate?

I am not sure about the arrow, but I believe the two stars indicate “direction to column for remarks for the complete sheet”.  You are then being directed to different part numbers depending upon the model. I’ve included a few pages from my parts catalog that dates to 1973.  (I am sure there’s some old parts guys on here that can shed more light).  You did not ask for, but I also added a page that shows how the parts numbers are derived, in case anybody is wondering how the heck they came up with those eleven digit parts numbers).  Tom

RealOEM is very useful for diagrams and part numbers.  Prices are not current.

I believe the arrow in the bottom right points to the front of the car for orientation of parts.
