Driving the car in the snow is not wise, hopefully there’s no salt there.  Those are cool looking tires though, kind of a period looking tread design, good choice!

The CN36’s, like Michelin Classic tires (e.g., XAS, XDX, etc.), are made in the original, ca. 1970 molds, albeit using modern rubber compounds.

Best regards,

Steve

Good to know these companies are reproducing tires for the classic car market.  I did know that Michelin was doing this but it’s good to see pirelli is jumping on the bandwagon.  I’ll have to check out what they have.  Hopefully they’re reproducing some of their 80’s tires as well, I need something for my e30....pirelli tires during that decade dominated the performance tire category...plus they were just cool looking too!

Nice! Were those photos shot in Julian? Reminds me of the days when I lived in San Diego and would take the kids to the beach in the morning then drive to Julian in the afternoon to play in the snow and eat a few slices of the famous Julian pies. Oh how I long to move back to San Diego. :)

Your CN36s are lovely.  Certainly, a wise purchase on your part.  My decision to purchase CN36s almost 3 years go and drive the pee-pee out of them has become one of the more (the most?) enjoyable upgrades I have made to my tii.  I find they perform even better than they look.
