Small Batch of Repro Italian Turn Signals

Description:

Hey guys,

I have a few more sets that were just completed this week up for grabs. I have three really nice, rechromed sets (tier 1), and one set that has reconditioned, used frames (tier 2)

All sets come from the same perfect molds. This means that you will see the factory lettering on the frames, no matter if you get the tier 1 or the only tier 2 set available. These may be the last sets ever produced since my manufacturer is suffering from health problems and the difficulty in making these to such a high standard is extremely difficult. But then again, I may surprise you all with another batch in 6 months or year...though I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket.

Regardless, I have three sets of the super incredibly nice, tier 1 sets, and only one set of the nice, tier 2 sets. The single tier 2 set has original frames brought back to life and made nearly perfect, but you will see tiny pitting marks along the surface on top.

All sets are turn key, ready to install and run in your US cars with amber dual filament bulbs, a-la factory US turn signals. These are all plug and play. These sets do not come with new gaskets; these are your responsibility. Should be available through BMW but I haven't checked.

Here are photos of the tier 1 sets. I only took photos of one set because the other two sets are identical. These are $775 before paypal fees, shipping, and core charge.

These won't last, they never do. The last batch we did feels like last year sometime, so I wouldn't sleep on these if you are on the fence. Even the bleed from amber into the clear part of the lenses are damn near perfect. Not a single factor was overlooked in making these.

Thanks for looking.

Best,

Ryan Danco

Satisfied customer over here.

These are super legit. I recently looked at my repos from Danco against a NOS OEM set a buddy has and couldn’t tell the difference.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
