So it looks like the best choice might be Koni+HandR+IE big sway bars?.....since the Billy HDs are not available...

I want the car 1/2-1.25" lower, slightly stiffer, and better handling. The bushings are all new stock.

I used Voghtland and got a 1-1/4" drop, everyone else was 1-1/2".

I was really happy with the ride

Yours looks great. I will see how mine looks with the Vogtlands once I take it out on Saturday and they settle in.

What shocks did you use with the V springs?

I've experienced the 4x4 2002 comments as well - I found that my car had rear springs in the front. Evidently they're not that different and could get switched if someone wasn't paying attention. On top of that my rear springs are some stock factory heavy duty towing springs - what the previous owner intended with this is beyond me. I've bought some IE stage 1 springs (the car had Bilstein HDs on it when I got it) that I'll be putting on it once I get other things sorted out first.

To the OP, I saw your car at the vintage, and I am betting this is what happened.

Thanks

Rob

It's completely possible. The springs were "used Korman springs, 1/2" drop; they were marked very clearly but it is possible the seller mixed up front and rear. The longer springs were installed in front as marked, should it be other way around?

Bilstein.co.uk has the front Heavy duty shocks in stock.  I just received them.  Here's the link:Front Bilstein B6 - Sport Shock Absorber - 34-000236 - Bilstein-Shocks.co.uk.webloc

These are the "HD equivalent" now right? Did you ship to usa?

+1 ...but making that large drive to the Vintage...I didn't have the heart to even mention the idea of swapped springs....

2+ on double-checking to be sure the springs are installed with the ends tucked into the relief sockets on the front struts.  Mine were not, and the front end was aimed toward the sky as a result.

I will literally order tonight, but just wondering if the site is legit? I guess it is if you received them?

Yes, it's Bilstein UK.  They arrived in original packaging, new and with correct model number and address from Bilstein Uk.  took about 2 weeks to arrive.  one was opened at customs to inspect.

Best of luck, im sure it will be ok
