Fully recognizing that its needed as a modern convenience, in a vintage car I'm with the no A/C crowd. Besides not needing it here near the 42d parallel, even in the summer, to me it just doesn't look right...too much function over form.  Had they been given the nod to include it as an option, the factory designers would have made the components less conspicuous. The quality of the install by the hack PO of my car made the decision easier  for me to rip it out.

My '73 2002 has a/c and it actually works properly! I use it on hot days, at highway speeds. It is a power drain if you're driving 'assertively', but on a long drive on the highway, it helps!
