If I were you I'd ask myself long and hard why you're doing that. It's a can of worms that doesn't always need opening.

I have an engine on a lift. It’s already for the most part stripped. I need the head for  another engine I’m having built.  The head has the correct date code. I plan to take it to a cylinder head specialist to clean and freshen up.
