Working on the chassis set up so they handle on a road course.  As soon as I get the chassis set up we will have a race at my track for local 02 owners.

Funnily enough I went slot racing today with my 4 year old son.

 

Great fun but lots of discussions about lifting off on the corners and scrambling to put cars back on the track.

Going off-topic but such fond memories of my 8' x 16' x 4-lane Scalextric road course.  Just wish I'd got pictures.  Circa 1962.

I still have my 1/24 scale Ferrari GTO slot car that I raced back in my college days--that model is over 50 years old so is probably collectible--much larger than the slot cars they use today--and has knock-off wheels!  Too bad today's tracks are too small to handle it.

1/24th scale is still run.  You might even find a track in your area.  We run HO scale, 1/64th, because it takes up less room to have a track at home.
